A Look at De Pata y Sazón: My Comeback Solo Exhibition

I’m beyond excited to share the journey of my solo exhibition, De Pata y Sazón! Returning to my alma mater, the University of the Ozarks, for this show has been such a meaningful experience. It feels like coming full circle, reconnecting with the place that shaped so much of my artistic foundation.

De Pata y Sazón celebrates the rich cultural traditions that inspire my work, blending personal stories with vibrant expressions of heritage and identity. Seeing this collection come to life in the Stephens Gallery has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported this milestone.

But the journey doesn’t stop here! I’m thrilled to announce that new pieces will be added to the collection leading up to its next exhibition at Arts on Main, Van Buren, AR, with the reception scheduled for May 16th, 2025. Mark your calendars—I’d love to see you there and share more of the stories behind this work.

Thank you to the University of the Ozarks for hosting this special show and for continuing to support alumni artists. Stay tuned for updates as this collection grows, and I hope to see you at the next stop on this exciting journey!
