Ten years ago, I took a leap of faith, leaving Honduras to embark on a journey to the United States with a scholarship from the Walton Foundation to attend the University of the Ozarks. Yesterday, that journey came full circle in the most beautiful way: I had the honor of showcasing my artwork at Crystal Bridges Museum of Art, the very first art museum I visited in my life.

I still remember walking through Crystal Bridges for the first time, feeling inspired and thinking, “If I’m going to call Arkansas home, it has to be in Northwest Arkansas.” To now stand in that same space, not as a visitor but as an artist sharing my story and work, is nothing short of surreal.

This moment was made possible through a special networking event, Conectando Creadores con Emprendedores, organized by Conexión de Negocios Latinos, to whom I extend my deepest gratitude. Sharing my journey with fellow creators and entrepreneurs reminded me of how far I’ve come and how God’s faithfulness and provision have guided me every step of the way.

Over these 10 years, I’ve grown, faced challenges, and found my voice as both an artist and a business owner through Clever and Azalia Molina Art I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given and the trust of those who’ve believed in me along the way.

This milestone at Crystal Bridges isn’t just a personal achievement; it’s a testament to the power of perseverance, community, and faith. And while I once dreamed of exhibiting here, even if not in the main gallery, I now dream of what’s to come—because this is only the beginning.
